From a total of 132 bids, the winning bidders plan to produce 1.58 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen over ten years, and submitted bids of between €0.37 and €0.48 per kg of renewable hydrogen produced.
In addition, it is announced that there will be a second auction of the European Hydrogen Bank by the end of this year.
The successful bidders in Spain are BENBROS ENERGY SL, DH2 Energy (ANGUS), and Renato PTX, a holding company formed by Enagás, Grupo Fertiberia and CIP.
